Jamie Richardson has developed her love of figurative art since childhood. Though primarily a drawer in traditional mediums, she has recently expanded into printmaking and digital work.  She received an Associate of Arts degree in Art History from Butte College in 2013 and in 2017 completed her culminating exhibition, Real Imaginings for the Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from California State University Chico, emphasizing in Drawing. Her drawing and printmaking work has been seen in a variety of group and juried exhibitions at Chico State, such as the 60th Annual Juried Student Exhibition at the University Art Gallery, juried by Cassandra Coblentz. Jamie has won the Janet Turner Memorial Award for her lithograph Onychophagy, one of two prints shown in the 21st Juried Student Print Exhibition and 14th Ink/Clay exhibition.
